1. Connect the cable
Plug the Ethernet cable into a free LAN port on the home router.
2. Connect power
The device requests an address on the new network automatically. No Wi‑Fi password is needed.
3. Open the overview
On the same network, open homenet.local. The first measurement starts automatically.

Do I need to replace my router?+
No. HomeNet Doctor connects to a normal LAN port by Ethernet and does not replace your existing router.
Does it work without cloud or a subscription?+
Yes. Current status, local history, diagnostics and recommendations remain available on the box.
Can it see websites I visit?+
No. It does not collect packet contents, browsing history or full DNS history.
What if homenet.local does not open?+
The box keeps measuring. You can also open it through the IP address assigned by the router; the package will include the exact steps.
